Talk about bad timing.

According to the Boston Herald's Karen Guregian, Tom Brady needed X-rays after he jammed his throwing hand at practice on Wednesday when he was accidentally run into. The X-rays showed no structural damage.

Brady didn't meet with the media Wednesday as scheduled because he was with the medical staff. On the injury report, he was listed as being limited with a right hand injury.

As for his status for Sunday's AFC championship, he "should be OK," this according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. Reiss also had a second source say it is possible the injury could affect him slightly.

The Patriots will practice Thursday at 12:15 p.m. and as of now Brady is expected to meet with the media later in the afternoon.
