FOXBORO -- For the first time since Tom Brady's injury happened, details are starting to emerge.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Brady's thumb was "gushing blood" when it first happened, but he was looking good at practice on Friday. A source told him Brady was “zinging it pretty good."

This comes following WEEI's Kirk Minihane's report of Brady needing three stitches on his right hand and that X-Rays were negative. Minihane also added Brady threw both with and without his glove on Friday and "looked great."

Brady did not participate in Thursday's practice, but was limited on Friday. He was officially listed as questionable on the injury report.

The quarterback did speak to the media following practice on Friday and was asked directly if he would play on Sunday?

"We'll see," he said.

The Patriots will meet the Jaguars Sunday afternoon in the AFC championship.
