At first glance, the Patriots' 2018 schedule looks pretty challenging with a tough three-game stretch to open the year against the Texans, Jaguars and Lions, and then games later on against the Packers and Steelers.

But, according to a study by the Washington Post, the Patriots actually have the easiest schedule in the entire NFL. The same study had them having the easiest schedule before the 2017 season.

It's based on "a blend of Super Bowl LIII future odds from the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook coupled with the over/under win totals set by online sportsbook 5Dimes." The Patriots' opponents are expected to win between seven and eight games with only two opponents -- the Steelers and Packers -- predicted to win more than 10 games.

The study has the average win total for Patriots' opponents at 7.5, which gives them the easiest schedule in the NFL.

The Rams have the hardest schedule, as their opponents are predicted to win an average of 8.9 games.
