FOXBORO -- The Patriots have said nothing but positive things about the Jaguars this week, but Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey believes these players are trying to "gas" him up.

“I’ve seen a couple of things about it," Ramsey told reporters in Jacksonville on Friday. "I know for a minute they were trying to gas me up. They were trying to gas us up a little bit. You can’t really gas somebody up who is already gassed. I mean, that is what I do. That didn’t really matter to me. That one kid who said something, I don’t really know who he is, so it is what it is.”

This comes following Ramsey guaranteeing the Jaguars would win the Super Bowl at a rally in Jacksonville Sunday night following their win over the Steelers.

The "kid" Ramsey is likely referring to is Patriots rookie defense tackle Adam Butler who said, "if you're going to make a statement like that, you better be able to back it up" on Wednesday.

All this talk won't matter come Sunday afternoon when the game is actually played.
