It seems like Roger Goodell is finally over Matt Patricia wearing a Barstool Sports clown t-shirt

Everyone remembers Matt Patricia walking off the plane following the Patriots' Super Bowl LI win over the Falcons wearing a Roger Goodell Barstool Sports clown t-shirt, as the win was viewed by some as revenge for Deflategate.

Goodell was still upset by the shirt last summer, as according to Pro Football Talk he remained "miffed."

Fast forward to now, it seems Goodell is over it.

According to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe, the new Lions head coach was at the league headquarters in early May as one of the NFL coaches involved in discussions surrounding plays that will be penalized under the new lowering-the-helmet rule, and it was there he hugged Goodell and had a "nice chat."

This, according to the report, was viewed as the commissioner moving on.

In other matters, Patricia is currently in the news after a story last week was surfaced regarding a 1996 sexual assault allegation that he was indicted on, but was never tried for. The NFL is reviewing the claim with the Lions "to understand the allegations and what the club has learned."
