-- Tom Brady posted a picture with his son Benjamin on Instagram Monday with the caption “burger-tyme @edelman11” and Edelman responded in the comments with a jab at Brady’s diet.

A post shared by Tom Brady (@tombrady) on

“@tombrady must’ve missed this option in the tb12 meal plan,” Edelman commented.

The caption is a nod to Edelman’s Burgertyme show, which seems to have only lasted one episode.

Edelman considers himself a burger expert and even ate one nude during the ESPN the Body Issue photoshoot.

“My body is my temple. That’s why I like to feed it burgers,” Edelman said during the shoot. “One burger a day to keep the conditioning away.”

Definitely the opposite of Brady’s diet beliefs.

-- Johnny Manziel appeared on Good Morning America on Monday and revealed he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder about a year ago and this caused depression that likely contributed to his NFL downfall.

“I am taking medication for bipolar, and I am working to try to make sure I don’t fall back into any type of depression because I know where that leads me and I know how slippery a slope that is for me,” Manziel said. “At the end of the day, I can’t help that my wires are a little bit differently crossed than yours. I can’t help my mental makeup or the way that I was created. I am coming back from a huge downfall. I don’t know what kind of comeback it will be, but I know I want to get back on the football field, to what brought me so much joy in my life.”

The Heisman Trophy winner was drafted by the Browns in 2014 and played two seasons before he was released in 2016 because of off-field issues, including a domestic dispute with then-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley. He also spent time in rehab in 2015.

“I was self-medicating with alcohol. That’s what I thought would make me happy and get out of that depression,” Manziel recalled. “When I would wake up the next day after a night like that, going on a trip like that, and you wake up the next day and that is all gone, that liquid courage, or that liquid … sense of euphoria that is over you, is all gone. … Where did that get me except out of the NFL?”

Manziel is now engaged to model Bre Tiesi and is looking to make a football comeback.

“The goal of this comeback is to get back to the NFL, ultimately,” he said.

He is branding his comeback attempt as “Comeback SZN” on merchandise in his online store.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “Lane Johnson, I don’t know what he’s talking about. I had a lot of fun. There were so many times that we would speak out in meetings. The entire team meeting would erupt in laughter. We were playing music on the team plane. We had so much fun in the ones that I was there. I cannot understand what he’s saying there.” -- Tedy Bruschi, on Lane Johnson claiming “the Patriot Way is a fear-based organization”
