WEEI Sports Radio Network and the Boston Celtics Announce Broadcast Rights Extension

BOSTON (September 27, 2010) – WEEI and the Boston Celtics announced today that they have extended their broadcast rights agreement in a multi-year partnership.
 
Sean Grande and Cedric Maxwell will return for their 10th season as the play-by-play team. A new, live call-in segment will be added to every post-game show, with extended game analysis, discussion, and a new text-in feature that will allow for more interaction between fans and Grande and Max . In addition, the parties are proud to announce the creation of “Celtics Thursday.” Celtics Thursday will provide listeners with exclusive access to information from key Celtics personnel, including Head Coach Doc Rivers on the Dennis and Callahan Show, President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge with Glenn Ordway on the Big Show, and a rotation of Celtics players on the Dale and Holley Show.
