WCVB-TV's Exclusive Interview with the Ordways
Talking Boston sports comes easy for WEEI’s Glenn Ordway. But now he's talking about the most difficult moment of his life. "I was going to lose the baby, and I might lose my wife," Ordway said. The only hope for Mia (pictured left) was a new treatment that helped a football player walk. The 6th Annual Whiney Awards Recap
WEEI held the 6th Annual Whiney Awards, with Glenn Ordway, on Thursday, April 3, 2008. This year’s event was held at the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales benefied the Citi Performing Arts Center Public Programming. Citi Performing Arts Center provides free art educational programming that reaches kids in many of the urban neighborhoods. The “Whiney’s” were introduced in 2003 to honor the top callers to WEEI’s popular Whiner Line - a hotline for listeners to whine, joke and vent their frustrations about the sports happenings of the day.
