In Tuesday’€™€™s Three For All on Middays with MFB, Tim BenzLou Merloni and Christian Fauria discussed a story about a woman being arrested for leaving her 9-year-old daughter alone at a park, and they debated when a child is old enough to be left to play outside alone. To listen to the segment, go to the MFB audio on demand page.

Debra Harrell of North Augusta, South Carolina, was arrested and charged with unlawful conduct toward a child for allegedly leaving her 9-year-old daughter at a park for hours while she worked at a nearby McDonald’s restaurant.

“So she let her daughter go to the park by herself, a six-minute walk to their house. She has a key, she has a cell phone, and apparently the cops arrested her,” Merloni said. “She could face 10 years for this.”

Said Fauria: “If you’re doing your job as a cop you at least say, ‘Where’s your mom at?’ And you grab the kid if you think the situation is dangerous, bring it to work and say, ‘Listen, either you get off work right now and take control of your child, or I’m going to arrest you.’ You don’t arrest the mother.

“That’s asinine. That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. You don’t tell me how to take care of my kid and what is safe for her. If you see a scary situation that isn’t safe for that girl or boy, it doesn’t matter. Just grab the kid, put them in the car and take them to where they were.”

The story inspired a discussion amongst the guys about how old a child should be to be allowed to go outside alone, and when it’s OK to be without parental supervision.

“Obviously there’s a lot of factors in there,” Merloni said. “My neighbor has two kids, 12 and 10. My son is 4 1/2, 5. Obviously I would never do that right now. But I’m looking at the neighbors I see a 12- and a 10-year-old. I’m looking at the 10-year-old, he’s out there playing in the yard by himself, and I’m thinking, would I be comfortable letting him go to the park and shoot hoops there instead of in the backyard?”

Said Fauria: “If my kids want to roll out to the parks and shoot hoops, I’ll see you when I see you. Together, yes. Or even if they were with their friends I would let them go to the park.

“My daughter who’s 10, I don’t really feel comfortable about it even if I have a cell phone.”

Benz added: “Where I grew up in Guilford, Connecticut, no big deal as a 9-year-old by yourself. But going down to New Haven?”

Bill Clinton reportedly has blonde mistress nicknamed ‘Energizer’

A new book by Ronald Kessler claims former President Bill Clinton has a blond mistress nicknamed “Energizer” by his security staff.

Excerpts obtained from Kessler’s upcoming book “The First Family Detail: Secret Service Agents Reveal the Hidden Lives of Presidents” revealed that the mistress would arrive at the Clinton home sometimes just minutes after Hillary Clinton has left.

“You’ve got a picture there?” Callahan asked.

Dennis said: “That’s what it’s missing.”

“My imagination is running wild,” Callahan said. “I picture like a young Lonnie Anderson.”

Dickerson added: “I thinking of an old Lonnie Anderson. Not young.”

According to the excerpts, Hillary’s secret service agents inform Bill’s detail when she is heading home so Bill has time to get the mistress off the property.

“Do you call B.S. on this, Gerry?” Dennis asked.

“No. I believe it 100 percent,” Callahan said.

Said Dickerson: “I call B.S. I think there’s more than one [mistress]. There’s like four of them.”

Gisele Bundchen reportedly controlling of Tom Brady

According to a report by Star Magazine, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady‘s marriage is at a low point because Bundchen is controlling and has final say when it comes to decisions such as how the home is decorated and where their children will be raised.

“I’m going to stop you when you get to the part that differentiates him from every other guy I know, including me,” Callahan told Dennis as he was reading the details. “So far we’re on the same page.”

Said Dickerson: “It’s all the things I don’t want to do.”

Bundchen reportedly has a strict chore schedule and forces Brady to get up early with the kids to scrub the toilets and clean the floors while she sleeps in.

“I’m calling B.S. on that,” Callahan said. “Get out of bed and clean the toilet? Cinderella didn’t have to do that. That’s stupid.”

Husband documents wife’s excuses to not have sex with him

A sexually frustrated husband documented every time his wife refused to have sex with him for a month and sent the spreadsheet to her before she left on a 10-day business trip. In response, the wife posted the sheet on Reddit and it went viral.

The list includes excuses such as, “I’m too drunk and ate too much,” and, ” ‘I just came back from the gym, I feel gross’ (didn’t shower until next morning).”

“She also cited a recent weight gain has not made her feel good about herself,” Dennis said. “I feel like an hour’s worth of sweaty sex would work some of that off. Would it not?”

The list revealed the couple had sex three times in seven weeks despite 27 attempts by the husband.

“Is this story related to the Hillary-Bill story at all?” Dickerson asked jokingly.

Callahan said: “I’m guessing Bill gave up on that 30 years ago.”

JetBlue pilot among six arrested in Boston drug bust

A JetBlue pilot from Florida was among six people arrested by Boston police over the weekend in an investigation of drug dealing.

According to police, John Manwaring of Maitland, Florida, and a woman with him were charged with possession of heroin, while the others were arrested for other drug charges.

“Now he was scheduled to fly out 14 hours after the bust,” Callahan said. “So if you buy the heroin and then you go with her, wherever, some flop house, shoot up, are you going to be OK to fly in 14 hours?”

Said Dennis: “I think JetBlue frowns on that.”

In Monday’€™s Three For All on Middays with MFB, Tim Benz, Lou Merloni and Christian Fauria discussed HBO’€™s “True Detective,” a man’€™s poor way of informing his wife of his frustrations in bed and one 5-year-old boy’€™s special birthday wish. To listen to the segment, go to the MFB audio on demand page.

Over the weekend, Benz purchased the DVD box set of the critically-acclaimed HBO show “True Detective,” which had he not seen before.

“€œI never really watch shows, I’€™m not a TV show watcher,” Benz said. “Unless it’€™s ‘Family Guy’ or ‘South Park,’ that’€™s pretty much what I’€™m limited to.”

Benz finished the entire eight-episode first season over a two-day stretch, and was overall torn on the final product.

“€œI crammed. … I stayed up really late on Saturday night, I watched the first five episodes, which I really enjoyed, and the last three I thought were crap,” Benz said.

When asked to give the show a grade, Benz gave it a B/B-minus.

“By TV standards, it’€™s an A,”Benz said. “€œBut I have pretty low standards when it comes to looking at TV.”

“I haven’€™t seen it, and now, I don’€™t think I’€™m going to go see it, unless I’€™m on vacation, downtime, don’€™t feel like reading some crap book. … I might try it out,” Fauria said.

– A man didn’t take the best route when it came to voicing his frustration about his wife turning down his sexual advances. The man eventually sent his wife a spreadsheet that listed all the times over the past two months that he attempted to have sex with her and the excuses that she gave to avoid it.

After getting the spreadsheet via email, the woman posted the document on the social networking site Reddit and it has since gone viral.

“He was obviously trying really hard,”€ Fauria said, adding: “He thought he’€™s make an Excel spreadsheet, which is stupid, because you just made a bad problem worse. Now she’€™s really not going to have sex with you.”

– Merloni brought up the story of Foxboro native Danny Nickerson, a 5-year-old boy who was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer last fall.

Nickerson, who will turn 6 on July 25, gets a huge boost when he receives cards with his name on it in the mail, and he has already received over 40 letters leading up to his birthday.

Merloni gave out Nickerson’€™s address out during the segment and urged everyone to send a card his way for his birthday.

“Let’€™s get some birthday cards out to little Danny and let him just enjoy  seeing all the cards in there, seeing his name on all of it,” Merloni said.

Cards can be sent to Danny Nickerson, P.O. Box 212, Foxboro, MA 02035.
