According to the Boston Police Dept., the area around the Boston Marathon finish line on Boylston Street has been cordoned off after police discovered suspicious backpacks.

According to WBZ-TV, a man was seen with one of the backpacks, yelling “Boston Strong,” just prior to the area was evacuated. The report also states the man was barefoot and wore a long black veil.

The Copley Station Green Line has been closed while an investigation of the scene is taken place.

According to multiple reports, the area around the Boston Marathon finish line on Boylston Street has been cordoned off after police discovered suspicious backpacks.

According to WBZ-TV, a man was seen with one of the backpacks, yelling “Boston Strong,” just prior to the area was evacuated. The report also states the man was barefoot and wore a long black veil.
