Here are the highlights from Friday’s Three for All on Middays with MFB with Lou Merloni, Christian Fauria and Tim Benz. To hear the segment, go to the MFB audio on demand page.

– The segment began with a discussion of the game the guys played Thursday, when they placed the three morning hosts into categories: one to party with, one to live with and one to kill. On Friday’s Dennis & Callahan show, the D&C hosts turned the tables and slotted the midday team into the same categories.

There was some discussion about a comment from producer Joe Zarbano, who said Callahan was likely to die before Minihane, because he’s older.

“I would feel bad if Callahan somehow dropped dead,” Fauria said, although he noted that Callahan competes in road races and charity bicycling events and likely is in better shape than all the other hosts.

– Benz talked about NESN’s new anchors/reporters, including another import from Canada, Toronto native Nikki Reyes. Guerin Austin, a former Miss Nebraska, will handle Bruins sideline reporting duties.

“The girl from Toronto’s not doing hockey, but the girl from Nebraska is?” Merloni wondered, adding: “Does that make sense to you?”

Reyes replaces fellow Canadian Leah Hextall, who now is an NHL studio host with Rogers Sportsnet in Canada. Austin takes the spot vacated by Jamie Erdahl, who left to handle college football sideline reporting duties for CBS Sports Network.

– Fauria is reconsidering his song choice for Friday night’s karaoke competition vs. Zarbano at the Hong Kong restaurant in Faneuil Hall.

Fauria played “Love Song” by Tesla, but it was not well received by the rest of the crew.

“This is a long-hair power ballad,” Benz said. “You want a fun party song.”

After hearing more criticism from Benz, who suggested Fauria go back to “The Pina Colada Song,” Fauria said he was torn.

“You can’t hit these notes,” Benz said while the Tesla song played.

“I can’t hit any of the notes, so what does it matter,” Fauria replied, adding, “I’m a little down now.”

– A message was sent from Joan Rivers’ Facebook page Friday morning promoting the new iPhone 6. Rivers died earlier this month.

“This morning, Joan Rivers, back from the dead and posted about the new iPhone 6 and how much she loves it,” Merloni said.

“Now that’s an endorsement right there,” Benz said.

Said Merloni: “How freaky is that? If you’re following Joan Rivers on her Facebook page you wake up and you’re like, ‘What is this? Wait a minute, what is going on here. How is she … why does she like the iPhone 6 right now?’ “
