Earlier this week, Patriots owner Robert Kraft said Tom Brady hopes to play for another six or seven more years. Given that Brady will turn 40 in August, that means he expects to stand under center until he’s 46 or 47. It would be a superhuman feat.

On ESPN’s “Around the Horn” Tuesday, panelist Bomani Jones insinuated he doesn’t think Brady can last that long unless he takes illicit substances.

“At his age, the only people you’re playing six or seven more years is not legal as things stand right now,” Jones said. “I’m saying to play until you’re 45 years old, you can’t quite do that naturally.”

Jones didn’t back down when he was pressed about whether he was implying Brady would be forced to turn to performance-enhancing drugs to realize his goal.

“That is exactly what I’m saying, because nobody can play NFL football until they’re 45 years old unless they’re a kicker,” he said. “That is an insane thought to have. But part of him being so good is being insane.”

While Brady shows no signs of slowing down –– he led the AFC in passer rating last season –– it’s unfathomable to imagine him continuing to play quarterback into his late 40’s. But then again, it is rather reckless to preemptively accuse somebody of using PEDs.

The only time Brady has even been remotely linked to steroid use was in 2006, when Barry Bonds’ former personal trainer Greg Anderson revealed to prosecutors he once spoke briefly with the Patriots’ quarterback on the phone. Anderson said he didn’t have any conversations with Brady afterwards.

— After the Warriors’ 113-106 win over the Rockets Tuesday, Golden State’s Draymond Green spoke out against the Oakland Raiders’ anticipated move to Las Vegas.

“I feel bad for the city of Oakland, man,” Green said. “I don’t even know how that’s going to work, honestly, with a football team moving to Las Vegas. I feel bad for the city.”

The Raiders’ move to Las Vegas was approved by NFL owners on Monday by a 31-1 vote. The Raiders will stay in Oakland for at least two more seasons until their new $1.9 billion stadium is completed.

“If I was a fan, I wouldn’t attend a game for the next three years, but that’s just me,” Green went on. “That’s ridiculous. No way I would pay my way to attend a game.”

“That’s like moving the Dallas Cowboys or like moving the Packers. Like, moving the Raiders? You can move a lot of teams. Ain’t many fan bases like the Raiders’ fan base. It’s like moving the Boston Celtics from Boston or the Lakers from L.A,” Green also said. “Like, you just don’t move certain franchises with the fan base that they have. It’s one thing if you’re moving from Oakland to Fremont or something, but to Las Vegas? I wouldn’t attend a game. I won’t attend a game, and I’m not a die-hard Raiders fan, but I do support the city of Oakland. I feel like all fans should feel that way. You just don’t do that.”

Green said he has attended “eight or nine” Raiders games during his time with the Warriors.

“It’s amazing,” Green said. “Every time you go, it never gets old just to see that atmosphere. To see them making a playoff run this year, that s— is amazing. The atmosphere was crazy. I went to the night game when they played Denver. That s— was nuts. You can’t just move that and then expect to get [the fan support] back, either. That’s the thing.”

The Warriors themselves are planning a move from Oakland to San Francisco in 2019.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “I don’t, but I plan on being at the kickoff game.” — Roger Goodell, on if he will attend the Patriots’ first game of the season at Gillette Stadium this year
