The Boston College football team held its first intrasquad scrimmage of the spring Saturday afternoon in Alumni Stadium. “I saw some good things,” Coach Frank Spaziani said. “The offense is getting better, learning some things and executing. We’re making progress, but it’s still very early.” Redshirt sophomore QB Dominique Davis was the first quarterback to take the field, finishing the day completing 9-of-22 passes for 64 yards with three interceptions. Redshirt freshman quarterback Justin Tuggle had a solid debut, completing 9-of-11 passes for 87 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The Eagles will scrimmage again on April 18. Spring practice will conclude with the annual Jay McGillis Memorial Spring Game, which will kick off at 1 p.m. on April 25. For more, visit It Is What It Is.
