Forward Brian Scalabrine said he would relish the opportunity to return to the Celtics next season, but he's prepared to look for a new home after his contract expires. He also said he'd play overseas if he couldn't hook on with another NBA team. Scalabrine, who turned 32 Thursday, has played hurt for the Celtics earlier this season and recently has seen his minutes dwindle to precious few, but he's accepting of his role.
“I’m not really like an egomaniac or anything like that,” he said. “I look at it like, I shoulder all responsibility on me. If I’m not playing, it’s because of me. If I am playing, on that side, I always say it’s because I’ve got good people around me."
