FORT MYERS, Fla. -- New Red Sox third baseman Adrian Beltre arrived in camp on Monday and said signing with Boston in the offseason for the chance to win a World Series was worth giving up a multiyear offer from the Oakland A's. "I haven't been in this situation a lot before," Beltre said. "I've been on teams that have been good but not good enough to even get into the playoffs. It's something that I consider myself taking a little risk to put a ring on my finger." Beltre and David Ortiz were among the players seen in the clubhouse on Monday morning on reporting day for all position players.
