Marquis Daniels confirmed before Wednesday's game that he will return to Celtics practice on Thursday for the first time since having surgery on his left thumb in early December. Coach Doc Rivers said Daniels could possibly return on Sunday against Orlando but the more realistic date is next Wednesday in New Orleans against the Hornets.
