FOXBORO — Randy Moss caught three touchdown passes for the ninth time in his career and Tom Brady was nearly perfect in throwing four TD passes on the day as the Patriots routed the Jacksonville Jaguars, 35-7, at Gillette Stadium to clinch the AFC East title. The Patriots assumed control of the game early when James Sanders stopped Maurice Jones-Drew on fourth-and-1 at the Jacksonville 35. Brady, who went over 4,000 yards passing for the season, found Moss on a 2-yard TD pass to start a run of 35 consecutive points. After his third TD catch of the game, Moss was spotted on the sideline laughing at the video board, which showed a fan in a Moss mask while the fans started chanting "Randy, Randy, Randy." Brady finished 23-of-26 for 267 yards while Wes Welker had 13 catches for 138 yards. The 10-5 Patriots will finish the season next week in Houston.
