According to the Seattle Times, who talked with Venuelan reporter Augusto Cardenas, Marco Scutaro has said that four teams have shown interest in the free agent infielder, the Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, LA Dodgers, and Red Sox. "Boston is interested, like the Dodgers, Seattle and Texas," Scutaro has been quoted as saying. "[All four teams] have just called to say they have interest, but they haven't made an offer yet." Scutaro goes on to say that at least one team would like to play third, although the player said, "I would rather be between short and second." Cardenas posted on Twitter that Scutaro's preferences are the Red Sox and Dodgers because they will have more of a chance to play in the playoffs. Scutaro hopes to define his contract after Dec. 1 after receiving an arbitration from the Blue Jays.
