CHICAGO -- According to a representative of the Scott Boras Corp., Jason Varitek hasn't decided if he will accept the $3 million player option put in play Monday after the Red Sox declined the catcher's $5 million team option. Varitek has until Saturday to make his decision and will be talking with Boras later Tuesday night regarding the player's options. Boras is expected to meet with the media at some point early Tuesday evening at the O'Hare International Airport Hilton, where the general managers meetings are currently being held.
