The Boston Celtics have made a verbal commitment to New York Knicks guard Stephon Marbury, according to the New York Post. The Post reports that the Celtics are one of two teams who have expressed interest in acquiring Marbury. WEEI.com's Jeff Goodman first reported the Celtics interest in Marbury in December.
