Congratulations to everyone who is supporting the Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon. My family has fought cancer for longer than I can remember. I have lost loved ones to this dread disease and have a daughter saved by new and innovative therapies.
Thank you WEEI.
I will be donating for a cure for the people affected with cancer. My sister, brother-in-law and best friend were diagnosed with it last year. They have all been strong through this. Without the research they probably wouldn't be here today. Keep up the great work and someday they will find a cure.
#KeepFighting #PutCancerOnTheDL Thank you to the Red Sox, NESN, WEEI, the Jimmy Fund, and the doctors and researchers on the front lines saving lives.
Thank you to all who participated in the Jimmy Fund Telethon. We appreciate all WEEI and NESN does every year.
I have made a donation this year because I have had many family members who have suffered from various forms of cancer in the past and my future mother-in-law is a current patient at Dana Farber battling AML leukemia and ovarian cancer. We are thankful that she is in the care of Dr. Stone and his staff/colleagues, as having that team on her side gives us more hope that she can beat this terrible disease...taking it one day at a time and trying to stay upbeat!
I am a person that has had sun cancer and I would like to wish every one the best in fight caner. the red sox Manger is in my prays all the time
Dana Farber has been a life saver for my family. Their miracle workers have allowed me and my boys to have a life with their wife/mother. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago and the doctors jumped right into action on our first visit. I couldn't have been more impressed and grateful to everyone at Dana Farber for the treatments they have done on my wife. The research they have done on my wife's breast cancer have turned her cancer from a death sentence 15 years ago into the one with the best prognosis.
Please contribute whatever you can so someone else's wife/mother can have more time with their children.
My grandson Riley was diagnosed with brain cancer on September 15, 2011. He fought for nine months at the Jimmy Fund clinic. He made many friends in Boston including Rob Ninkovich and the Tufts Football team.
Pediatric cancer needs funding. September is pediatric cancer month. Gold is the color. On June 9, 2012 we lost Riley. He was 8 years old. We Love Riley - please fight pediatric cancer now!
We are pleased to make our donation on behalf of our entire staff and wonderful brides with the hope of some day kicking cancer. Dana Farber does such a terrific job and have faith that one day they will conquer this horrific disease! God bless all those needing their help! Modern Bride
In honor of Jaxson Field fighting an extremely courageous and inspiring fight against cancer. Keep up the good work buddy, we love you and are so proud of you! Thank you Jimmy Fund for all that you do to help lift the spirits for children battling cancer.
The Jimmy Fund is by far the best charity of them all! My mom bagan gibing to the Jimmy Fund when Ted Williams got involved, and she has instilled in her children that we should blieve and spport this cause. We have honored her request every year, and I look forward o one day when there is no nee for the Jimmy Fund becuase of the reat work they do, that cancer will never take a child's life ever again. I wish you all the best, you are all in my thoughts & prayers.
I was a patient at Dana-Farber in the 1970's after being diagnosed at 18 months with uterine cancer. The top notch treatment I received there and at Boston Childrens Hospital is undoubtedly the reason I am alive today. A few years ago, I started a team for the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Since then, that team has doubled in size and I have increased my participation to volunteer at other Jimmy Fund events. I can't say how happy it makes me to give my time to help fundraise for such a worthy cause. Looking forward to answering phones again tonight and will be escpecially happy to be there when the final total is announced. Keep up the good work and I'll be there to help in any way I can along the way!!
Donating in memory of my Mom, Peggy Dillingham, who died from colon cancer. I know what cancer is and I hope my donation does some good. Thank you Dana Farber for all you do for cancer patients. Hopefully someday we will find a cure.
I hope the best and give all my prayers to the children and family's fighting
