Oney Guillen, son of White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen, has criticized Bobby Jenks in a series of Twitter posts.
Jenks was the White Sox closer for the last five seasons before signing a two-year deal with the Red Sox last week. Jenks told MLB.com that he was “looking forward to playing for a manager who knows how to run a bullpen.”
Perhaps in defense of his father, Oney Guillen called Jenks a "punk" in one Twitter post and in another wrote that Jenks "cried in the managers office bc u have problems now u go and talk bad about the sox after they protected u for 7 years."
Oney Guillen resigned from his job in the White Sox scouting department in March after posting negative tweets about general manager Ken Williams.
