MARINA DEL REY, Calif. — The Bruins are continuing to speak with the Edmonton Oilers regarding a possible deal to swap draft picks in Friday’s NHL draft.
“We talked this morning and I imagine we are going to have a discussion on the draft floor, in fact I know we will,” Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli said Friday morning before departing for downtown Los Angeles and the opening round of the draft.
The Bruins could be looking to swap their pick, the second overall, with the Oilers, who have the top pick, in order to secure drafting their preference between Taylor Hall or Tyler Seguin.
