In an attempt to show his motivation for this Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Patriots, Texans running back Arian Foster changed his avatar on Twitter Monday to a excerpt of a Sunday column written by Dan Shaughnessy of the Boston Globe.
"The 2012-13 New England Patriots just became the first team in NFL history to get back-to-back byes before advancing to the conference championship game. Could this get any easier? I mean, seriously? The planets are aligned and the tomato cans are all in place. The fraudulent Houston Texans are the only team standing between the New England Patriots and a trip to the AFC Championship game. All the Patriots have to do is beat the terrible Texans [on Sunday]. At Gillette Stadium."
That is what people will see when they click on @ArianFoster on Twitter.
Shaughnessy responded via his twitter page later, tweeting "hey @arianfoster -- Loving the avatar. Bring your A game to Foxboro on Sunday."
