FOXBORO -- Reaffirming his public announcement that he is only interested in the Patriots postesason, Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels told all teams with coaching vacancies that he is declining all interview requests, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
After seven head coaches were fired on "Black Monday" in the NFL, McDaniels' name again surfaced. He said in a conference call [1] that he is very "happy and thrilled" in New England.
Hours later, Schefter tweeted Monday "Though he'd like to be an HC again one day, Pats OC Josh McDaniels notified teams Monday he will remain in NE, not interview for HC jobs now."
