FOXBORO -- Patriots Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski will be active and available to play for the first time since breaking his left forearm on Nov. 18 against the Colts.
Gronkowski has missed the last five games but still leads all NFL tight ends and Patriots receivers with 10 touchdown receptions. Gronkowski has 53 catches for 748 yards this season, his third with the Patriots.
The full list of Patriots inactives include CB Alfonzo Dennard, S Nate Ebner, OL Nick McDonald, CB Marquice Cole, DE Jake Bequette, OT Markus Zucevics, WR Kamar Aiken The significant inactive for the Dolphins is receiver Davone Bess, who is missing his third straight game with a bad back.
Dennard injured his right knee late in the first half against the 49ers on Dec. 16 and hasn't played since. Maurice Cole (finger), who missed practice Thursday and Friday, is missing his second game of the season.
