FOXBORO -- Marquice Cole (finger) was again the only player not spotted at Patriots practice inside Gillette Stadium on Friday. The defensive back missed practice on Thursday as well as the team practiced on the main stadium field for a second straight day.
The Patriots listed 20 players as "limited" on Thursday, including tight end Rob Gronkowski, whom Bill Belichick indicated Friday was still day-to-day. Belichick said the decision on whether Gronkowski will play and how much remains in the hands of the team's medical staff.
The Patriots practiced in sweats and shells outdoors as the team prepares to take on the Dolphins late Sunday afternoon at Gillette Stadium in the regular season finale. Weather could be a factor as temperatures will start in the low 30s and drop to the low 20s rapidly, with a chance of snow showers. Adding to the elements will be winds out of the northwest at 10 to 15 MPH, with gusts up to 25 miles an hour.
