Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey has ruled out running back Maurice Jones-Drew for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Jones-Drew injured his left foot on Oct. 21 against the Raiders in Oakland and has missed eight straight games.
Jones-Drew, a three-time Pro Bowl running back and the 2011 NFL rushing champ, still leads the Jaguars in rushing with 414 yards on 86 carries this season, but he has just one rushing touchdown. For the ninth straight game, he will be replaced in the backfield by Rashad Jennings, Greg Jones and Montell Owens.
