FOXBORO -- Despite his perfect attendance this week at practice, Rob Gronkowski will miss his fifth straight game this Sunday against the Jaguars, according to Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe.
Young reported Friday that a league source indicated that Gronkowski will miss the game as he continues to recover from a broken left forearm that required surgery after the Nov. 18 game against the Colts.
Gronkowski has been limited in practice since re-joining the team on Dec. 14 for a practice inside Gillette Stadium. He was seen talking with trainers and coach Bill Belichick during the portion of practice that was open to the media on Friday inside Dana-Farber Field House.
Despite missing the last four games, Gronkowski still leads the Patriots in touchdown receptions with 10 and is tied with Stevan Ridley for the overall TD lead on the team.
