After watching his team get outscored 30-12 at the start of the fourth quarter and eventually losing 100-89 to the Bulls in Chicago, Doc Rivers admitted that his team is nowhere close to where it needs to be.
"This team is not a good team right now. It's who we are right now," Rivers said. "We're not a good team right now. We're going to find it. They were clearly a tougher team tonight, and it's not even close."
The Celtics lost all three games on the road trip to fall to 12-12 on the season. The Celtics had no answers for Joakim Noah, who finished with his second career triple-double, and Nate Robinson who connected on 5-of-7 3-pointers and finished with 18 points.
"I just thought we had a team [Bulls] that played with more energy and got into us," Rivers said. "We're going to keep searching. I think we have the right group."
“Right now, we have no identity," Paul Pierce added. "That’s just simple and final. We’re supposed to be a defensive team. We’re giving up 100 points every night. We’re still searching who we want to be for the season.”
