FOXBORO -- Former Patriots star receiver Randy Moss will start at wide receiver with receiver Mario Manningham out for the second straight week with a shoulder injury.
Moss has caught 21 passes on 36 targets for 326 yards and two touchdowns this season.
Moss caught San Francisco's first touchdown Sunday night on a 24-yard touchdown pass down the left seam.
Moss starred for the Patriots for three seasons (2007-09) before being traded to the Vikings in Oct. 2010. Moss caught an NFL-record 23 touchdowns in the 18-1 season of 2007 and caught the go-ahead touchdown pass in Super Bowl XLII before the Giants came from behind to win the game in the final minute.
