According to multiple reports, the NHL and NHLPA have agreed to terminate the players/owners only format, allowing the likes of representitives such as NHL commissioner and NHLPA executive director Donald Fehr to re-enter the room. Negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement are expected to continue Thursday afternoon.
The two sides have reportedly made progress over the last two days, meeting in New York well into the night on both Tuesday and Wednesday, with offers being exchanged from each side.
