Now that Rajon Rondo has served his two-game suspension, the Celtics on Sunday sent rookie Kris Joseph back to the their NBA Development League affiliate in Maine.
The C's second-round pick played five minutes of Friday night's blowout agains the Blazers, recording his first two career points on a pair of free throws. He returns to Maine, where he averaged 25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 block in two games for the Red Claws.
