According to NFL.com, defensive end Jason Babin was claimed off waivers by the Jaguars [1] on Wednesday, one day after he was waived by the Eagles.
The report states that the Jaguars, who were second on the NFL's waiver claim priority list, were one of eight teams to put in a claim on the veteran pass-rusher. Tom E. Curran of Comast SportsNet tweeted after the waiver deadline passed [2] that the Patriots did not put in a claim on the 32-year-old Babin.
