According to a tweet [1] from ESPN's Adam Schefter, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will have surgery on his broken forearm. Schefter also notes that the injury is not expected to be season-ending. Multiple reports indicate the surgery will take place Monday.
NFL.com reported late Sunday night that Gronkowski has told people he will miss 4-6 weeks.
Gronkowski injured the arm late in Sunday's 59-24 victory over the Colts at Gillette Stadium.
