Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is not expected to play Sunday against Buffalo due to lingering ankle injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. (As a result, it's not a surprise that the Patriots activated tight end Visanthe Shiancoe on Saturday.) The 23-year-old Hernandez has struggled with an ankle issue since a Week 2 loss to the Cardinals. He did return for two games last month, but sat out the last game on the Patriots' schedule, Oct. 28 in London against the Rams. On the season, he has 17 catches for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
