Sox to interview Schu for hitting coach

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. -- According to a baseball source, the Red Sox will interview Rick Schu for their vacant hitting coach position. 

Schu, 50, played in the Majors and Japan from 1984-1996 and has most recently worked as an  organizational hitting instructor with the Nationals, a role he has served since 2009. Previously, Schu served as the Diamonbacks' hitting coach from 2007-2009.
