According to a report  from Jon Morosi of Fox Sports, the Red Sox have interest in first baseman Adam LaRoche, who is expected to reject a $13.3 million qualifiying offer from the Washington Nationals and become a free agent.
LaRoche won a Gold Glove for the Nationals in 2012 and led the club with 33 homers (fourth in the National League) and 100 RBI. The 33-year-old LaRoche was traded to the Red Sox from the Pirates on July 22, 2009 and played six games with the team before being dealt to the Braves on July 31, 2009 for Casey Kotchman.
Morosi also reports the Rangers have interest in LaRoche, who is expected to command a multi-year deal.
