In a recent players' poll conducted by the Sporting News, Jets coach Rex Ryan was named the Most Overrated Coach in the NFL. Ryan got 35 votes, while Patriots coach Bill Belichick was second with 16 votes. Asked about the poll on Wednesday [1], Ryan said he looked on the bright side of things.
"My first thought was I looked and saw who was second," Ryan said. "Hey, I finally beat Belichick. I got him. I knew it would take time, but I finally got him.
"Like it hasn't been a tough enough year," Ryan added. "Nah, I wasn't offended by it. At the end of the year, we'll see who's overrated."
