After the most efficient and productive day of his season, Tom Brady took the podium at Wembley Stadium and said he enjoyed the Patriots' 45-7 rout of the Rams in the rain at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. Brady completed 23-of-35 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns -- a pair each to Brandon Lloyd and Rob Gronkowski.
"That was a fun day, that was a fun day for us offensively," said Brady, who finished with a season-best 131.1 quarterback rating. "We played pretty well during the first half, made some plays there in the third quarter and fourth quarter to put it away, so it's great to come on a trip like this, put everything into it. We've got the bye week next week. It's a good feeling. I'm sure guys will have fun tonight."
Brady was asked by several British reporters what he thought of the Wembley Stadium crowd, which was announced at 84,004.
"This is a great venue," Brady said of the English national soccer venue. "This is a beautiful stadium. I know how historical it is. It's a great atmosphere for football so I hope they enjoyed the game today, all the fans. I know it got out of hand there, but that's how the Patriots like it, so it was a fun game for us."
