Aaron Hernandez did not make the trip with the rest of the team to London for Sunday's game against the Rams, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network. The tight end, who suffered an ankle injury in a Week Two loss to the Cardinals, has played the last two weeks, but was limited at practice on Wednesday and was not present on Thursday. ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that his ankle has not responded to treatment, and he's expected not to play against St. Louis. (However, according to multiple reports, Hernandez was expecting to be a new father this weekend, and under that scenario, there remains a possibility he could still join the team.) On the season, he has 17 catches for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
