FOXBORO -- Jerod Mayo was one of six Patriots missing from the start of Patriots practice on Wednesday in sweats and shells outside Gillette Stadium, as the team prepares for the Rams on Sunday in London. Mayo injured his left arm late in the second quarter and returned for the start of the third quarter wearing a black wrap on his left elbow. Also missing Wednesday were Steve Gregory, Trevor Scott, Tracy White, Brandon Bolden and Ras-I Dowling.
Bolden missed last week's game against the Jets with a knee injury while Gregory has missed three games with a hip injury.
Aaron Hernandez was at practice on Wednesday, riding an exercise bike while the rest of the team was running sprints.
The team will practice again in Foxboro on Thursday before taking a red-eye flight to London Thursday night for practice Friday.
The Rams traveled to London earlier in the week and practiced at Arsenal on Wednesday. Danny Amendola returned from a broken collarbone and was limited. The Rams will practice again at Arsenal on Thursday and Friday. The Patriots play the Rams at Wembley Stadium at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon.
