The Celtics will leave Europe with a split in their two preseason games after a 105-75 victory over EA7 Emporio Armani Milano. Rajon Rondo had 17 points and 6 assists and made all 7 of his shots in the first quarter. He was also 10-for-10 at the free throw line on the trip.
Other highlights for the Celtics included Paul Pierce who scored 14 points on 6 shots and Jeff Green, who poured in 17 points off the bench.
Rookie Jared Sullinger got the start at power forward and had a solid outing with 9 points and 7 rebounds. Jason Terry also got the start and responded with 11 points and was a +29 in 27 minutes. Brandon Bass made all 5 of his shots and finished with 11 points, while Courtney Lee had a bounce-back game with 11 points on 4-for-5 shooting.
The Celtics will return stateside and continue camp later this week. They're back in action on Saturday night against the Knicks in Hartford.
