FOXBORO -- Tight ends Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski are among 12 Patriots officially listed as questionable while receiver Julian Edelman (left hand) and safety Steve Gregory (hip) have been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Hernandez was at practice for a second straight day on Friday, both in sweats and shells. He has missed two games since spraining his right ankle against the Cardinals in the first quarter on Sept. 16.
Hernandez and Gronkowski were both limited in practice on Friday while Gregory and Edelman missed practice all week. After returning to practice on Thursday, tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (concussion) missed practice again on Friday and is officially questionable for Sunday.
Tom Brady (right shoulder) was removed from the injury report and fully participated after being listed as limited on Wednesday and Thursday. Cornerback Ras-I Dowling also returned to full participation Friday after reportedly missing Thursday due to a death in the family. Here is Friday's complete report:
