Patriots coach Bill Belichick appeared to grab an official after the Ravens completed a 31-30 comeback in a game that featured 24 penalties and a disputed game-winning field goal at the end of regulation, but the coach had a simple answer when asked if he thought he would be fined: "No."
As for the officials, Belichick said, "I'm not going to comment on that. You saw the game. What did we have, 30 penalties called in the game?"
Pressed further, the coach said, "It's our job to just go out there and control what we can control. That's what we're going to try to work on. You can't control anything else. You'd have to talk to those guys. Go talk to the officials about the way they called the game. Go talk to the league about the way they called it. I don't know, but we've got to go out and control it the best we can."
Belichick said he couldn't see whether the kick was good, but he added that he thought it was close. Asked about a review, he said, "You should talk to the officials and talk to those people and ask them those questions because obviously I don't have the answer to it. I'm just coaching the game. I'm watching it like you are. So you should ask them those questions. I can't answer them."
