UPDATED: Smoltz rained out of rehab start, will pitch on Friday

Right-handed pitcher John Smoltz' scheduled rehab appearance for Triple-A Pawtucket in Syracuse on Thursday was rained out. Smoltz will instead pitch the first game of Friday's double-header.
