Celtics forward Brian Scalabrine was a guest of the Big Show on Wednesday. Scalabrine was asked about Kendrick Perkins and the possibility that he would pick up a seventh postseason technical during the NBA finals, which would result in an automatic one-game suspension.
"He won't, he won't, " Scalabrine said. "I like Kendrick Perkins when he has a calm mind. If he has that thing on his mind like 'listen, I gotta remain calm, I gotta remain calm, I gotta remain calm' I think that he plays at another level. I think he finishes better, everything isn't so power-heavy, he uses a little more finesse at the offesnsive end, which I always think would be good for him. Those technicals are never a good thing. He's going to get tangled up with guys and at that point he's got to keep his cool. I think he will do that. I think he knows what's at stake here."
