Wide receiver Donte' Stallworth's bid to return to the Patriots appears to have ended unsuccessfully, as Pro Football Talk reported that Stallworth was cut by the team Monday morning.
Stallworth, who had 46 catches for 697 yards with the 2007 Patriots, bounced around to three teams the past four years before signing with the Pats in March. He had five receptions for 61 yards in three preseason games, including three for 40 yards in Friday's loss to the Buccaneers.
