FOXBORO -- Tom Brady will not play against the Philadelphia Eagles in the second preseason game of the year, according to a tweet from the Boston Herald's Jeff Howe.
Part of the concern of head coach Bill Belichick could lie in the fact that Brady and the offensive line was roughed up in club's preseason opener on Aug. 9. He was just 4-for-7 for 30 yards, with a strip-sack fumble and a three-and-out to start the game. The other concern is Philadelphia's front four, a group that sacked Pittsburgh quarterbacks seven times and hit them seven other times in a 24-23 Eagles win on Aug. 9.
