The Patriots released tight end Bo Scaife and offensive lineman Mike Ingersoll on Monday, according to multiple reports. Scaife, 31, was signed earlier this month after the Patriots found themselves shorthanded at the tight end spot during OTA's and minicamp. The Texas product, who had played six seasons (2006-10) with the Titans before landing in Foxboro, noticeably struggled with his conditioning in his brief stint with New England. As for Ingersoll, he was a first-year offensive tackle from North Carolina who spent time with the Chiefs and Buccaneers last year. ESPN Boston was first to report the news of the moves.
